Jhair Leon-Rodriguez is a Surgeon Dentist and holds a PhD in Clinical and Translational Research from Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. His academic background includes Master’s degrees in Stomatology, Research and University Teaching, and Public Health with specialization in Health Planning and Management, complemented by ongoing advanced training in Human Medicine. He currently serves as President of the Latin American Society of Medical Sciences, contributing to regional initiatives in scientific research, academic collaboration, and health sciences education.
As Editor-in-Chief of TUMI Oral Health, he leads the journal’s scientific and editorial direction, ensuring adherence to international standards of research integrity, peer review, and evidence-based publishing. His expertise in biostatistics and evidence-based medicine supports rigorous editorial decision-making, reinforced by formal training in research ethics and good clinical practices. Through his editorial role, he promotes transparent, ethical, and high-quality dissemination of research in oral and dental sciences.
