Author Guidelines

TUMI Health Sciences Research invites the international academic and scientific community to submit original, high-quality manuscripts in medicine and the health sciences. All submissions are initially screened by the Editor to assess their alignment with the journal’s aims, scope, and editorial standards. Manuscripts that pass this stage are subjected to a double-blind peer review process prior to an editorial decision.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under simultaneous consideration by another journal. All necessary permissions must be obtained for the reproduction of any copyrighted material, including images, tables, instruments, scales, or datasets.

All research involving human participants, biological samples, or clinical data must have received approval from a recognized institutional ethics committee and must comply with applicable international ethical principles. Informed consent must be obtained and explicitly stated where appropriate.

Manuscript Template and Submission Language Requirements

Before preparing a submission, authors are required to download and use the official TUMI Health Sciences Research templates available in the sidebar.

Two mandatory and separate submission files must be provided:

  • Title Page Template – Must include author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, corresponding author information, acknowledgments, funding, and declarations.

  • Manuscript Main Document Template – Must contain the complete scientific manuscript prepared in blinded format, without author-identifying information.

All manuscripts must be prepared and submitted in English, regardless of the language used to consult the template. Submissions that do not conform to the official templates or fail to include both required documents may be returned to authors for technical correction prior to editorial evaluation.
